A Flame Rekindled

This poem was presented on April 7th, 2014 as Rwanda officially marked its 20th genocide commemoration.(Kwibuka20) By Angel Uwamahoro, Ines Giramata, and Natasha Muhoza

This is for the one million lives lost in 1994, our beloved nation today and all who live and thrive in it as a result of the end of hate and war, carrying a vision of ONLY deeper harmony; and our future, which looks bright…

Behold! A flame is rekindled!
